Happy Dog Day Care & Boarding

• Requirements

Dogs must meet the following criteria in order to board or attend day care:

1. Minimum age of four months
2. Completion of puppy series
3. Proof of current vaccinations
4. Happy Dog requires the following vaccines:
   • DHLPP (yearly)
   • Bordetella (every six months)
   • Rabies (evey three years after completion of first year series)
5. Waiting period for vaccines:
   • DHLPP and Rabies may be given 24 hours prior to admission.
   • Bordetella
     • If yearly, dog must wait five complete days before admittance.
     • 6 month Bordatella, dog may be admitted 24 hours later
6. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by the age of eight months.
7. Under no circumstance will a dog be accepted in heat, even with reservations.
8. Happy Dog will not accept dogs directly from other boarding facilities, humane society, or county shelter.
9. Dogs must be free of communicable disease.
10. Dogs on antibiotics must have been on them for 24 hours prior to admission, or have a clearance from a veternarian.

Pricing

Day Care:

• Half Day:    $6.00
• Full Day:   $12.00

Boarding:

• Large kennel (5' x 10') $21.00 per night 
•      additional friend      $19.00

 

• Small Kennel (5'x 5')     $18.00  per night
•       additional friend      $17.00

 

A Half day of Day Care will be added for dogs getting pick-up after 12 noon.                                                                                                                                                               All boarding fees are due upon pick-up.
